BC3 completes new credit transfer deals
BUTLER TWP — Butler County Community College has signed two agreements to allow students to more easily transfer credits and receive a bachelor’s degree.
BC3 on Friday signed degree agreements with Chatham University and Indiana (Pa.) University.
The partnership with Chatham lets students earn an associate degree in general studies from BC3 and transfer all of those credits toward a bachelor’s degree in communications and public relations. An extra 30 credits could potentially be earned by students at BC3 that would transfer as well.
The partnership with Indiana allows BC3 students to earn an associate degree in early childhood education and transfer all of those credits toward a bachelor’s degree in early childhood and special education.
Other BC3 degree partnerships are with Clarion University, Robert Morris University, Franklin University, La Roche College, Youngstown State University, and the University of Pittsburgh.
Information about the degree completion programs can be found at the University Partnership Center in the Student Success Center at BC3.
