The next event in BC3's Performing Arts Series will be the annual holiday concert with the North Pittsburgh Philharmonic at 8 p.m. Friday in the Succop Theater on campus. The Blazing Star Choral Society will also perform.
Tickets for adults cost $12 in advance and $15 at the door. Students pay $10.

As part of the Heinz Chapel Organ Concert Series, a free performance will be given at 3 p.m. Sunday by Alan Lewis, director of music at Calvary Episcopal Church of Pittsburgh. The chapel is at the intersection of Fifth and Bellefield avenues in the Oakland section of Pittsburgh.Pitt's Nationality Rooms in the Cathedral of Learning Commons Room, 4200 Fifth Ave. in the Oakland section of Pittsburgh, will be open through Dec. 23 and from Jan. 2 to 14 for an admission fee of $3 for adults, $2 for senior citizens, 50 cents for children ages 8 to 18, and free for children younger than 8.The displays open at 9 a.m. Mondays through Fridays, 9:30 a.m. Saturdays, and 11 a.m. Sundays, with the last tour leaving at 2:30 p.m. each day. Carnegie Mellon's H. John Heinz III School of Public Policy and Management Master of Arts Management Program will present"Lines of Connection," a show offering two distinct exhibitions: "Educated Guess?" and "Matter of Trust.""Lines of Connection" marks the culmination of coursework investigating processes, both skills-based and artistic, behind mounting exhibitions.
