The Musical Theatre Guild opens "Pump Boys and Dinettes" tonight with, from left, Dean Weiland, Phil Ball, Davlin Hupp, Brady Patsy and Christy Hamilton at the Succop Theater in the Butler County Community College Cultural Center. Tickets for the next MTG show, "Meshuggah-Nuns," one of the popular "Nunsense" series, are available now at May's Music Shoppe, 247 E. Jefferson St.

The second summer show, under the direction of Casey Evanko, and co-produced by Sharon Chernick and Paul Vensel, will be staged in August at the air-conditioned MTG Production Center in Butler Memorial Park.

Show times and dates are 8 p.m. Aug. 12, 13, 19, 20. Sunday matinees will be held at 2 p.m. on Aug. 14 and 21.

Seating is limited to 60 per show, and all seats are $15. MTG membership coupons are not redeemable for this production.
