Penn Theater on Main Street will host an original, interactive murder mystery produced in conjunction with the BC3 Pioneer Players theater club on Oct. 14 in the upstairs Bantam Theater. The film starring Diane Lane is based on Frances Mayes' book about her experiences with renovating her summer home in Cortona, Italy. Admission is $4. Call 724-287-7366.

"Pittsburgh's Big Picture," an 8-minute film that highlights the city's assets, is being shown before each feature film through 2005 approximately. Admission varies.
