KC girls earn 3-inning no-hit softball victory

Karns City tossed a three-inning no-hitter in defeating East Forest, 15-0, Monday.

Kate Allen had two doubles and scored three runs while Emily Wolfe added a pair of doubles and two runs for the Gremlins.

Karns City scored eight runs in the second inning and had 11 hits in the game.

Butler’s boys came in first place at the 70-team Baldwin Invitational Friday night. The Golden Tornado’s 4x400 meter relay team of Cody Reddick, Cade Gratzmiller, Ryan Marcella and Guiness Brown won with a time of 3 minutes, 27.95 seconds.

Jack Codispot won the pole vault and Sami Taoufik took second in the high jump. Other top Butler performances follow:
