Kittanning man given Libertarian nomination for lieutenant governor
John Thomas, of Kittanning, has been named to the Libertarian Party ticket as the running mate for Ken Krawchuk’s campaign for governor in this November’s general election.
Thomas, who has lived in Kittanning for 10 years, is actively involved in numerous community organizations, including Habitat for Humanity of Armstrong County and Harvest Church of Kittanning. Through the latter, he serves on the jail ministry team.
Thomas previously ran as the Libertarian Party candidate in the 2024 Pennsylvania Senate election between incumbent Bob Casey and challenger Dave McCormick, which McCormick won. Thomas picked up 89,653 votes, good for 1.3% of the vote.
