Delores J. “Butch” Scott, 84, of Adams Township, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Monday evening, March 23, 2026, at UPMC Passavant-McCandless Hospital.
Born in Pittsburgh on Sept. 25, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Bertha Seamon Bertovic.
She shared a lifelong love with her husband, her junior high sweetheart, beginning at just 13 years old — a rare and enduring bond. She also enjoyed trips to the casino, playing bingo and relaxing at the beach, where she loved the warm sun on her face.
She will be remembered for her love, strength and dedication to those closest to her. She will be deeply missed.
Delores had worked as a secretary for Westinghouse and was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Mark the Evangelist Parish at St. Kilian Church in Cranberry Township, and also belonged to the Treesdale Golf and Country Club.
She was the beloved wife of Bernard C. Scott Sr., whom she married Aug. 1, 1964; loving mother of Kristy Boyles (Greg), of Madison, Ohio, and Bernard C. Scott Jr. (Susan), of Plum; and grandmother of Bernardo Scott and Brandan and Logan Boyles.
