Michael J. Albin, 74, of Butler, passed away Monday, March 23, 2026, at St. John Specialty Care Center, in Mars.

Born July 12, 1951, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Donald Albin and June Koch Albin.

Mike was employed in customer service at Armstrong. He also repaired computers and he worked as a courier at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was a member of All Saints Parish, St. Conrad Roman Catholic Church.

He is survived by one sister, Marilyn Edinger, of Butler; one nephew, James Edinger, of Butler; and two stepsons, Greg Dunsmore and his wife, Tammy, of Delaware, and Jeff Dunsmore, of Butler.

In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Doreen Padglek Dunsmore Albin, to whom he was married for 25 years and who passed away March 9, 2014.

ALBIN — Friends of Michael J. Albin, who died Monday, March 23, 2026, will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, March 26, at MARTIN FUNERAL HOME DOWNTOWN, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.

A blessing service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. John J. Baver officiating.

Burial will take place in North Side Cemetery, Butler.
