David J. Marsano, 47, of 215 Ridge Road died at 12:05 a.m. Sunday of injuries received in a motorcycle accident.

Born Aug. 18, 1959, in Ellwood City, he was the son of Elsie Coccia Marsano of Ellwood City and the late Emilio "Amey"Marsano, who died in 2000.

He was a 1977 alumnus of the Lawrence County Vocational-Technical School and a graduate of a Pittsburgh technical school.

Mr. Marsano was an HVAC technician at the Butler Memorial Hospital for more than 20 years and currently was property manager at the Butler County Family YMCA.

Mr. Marsano was a Catholic.

He was a member of the YMCA and enjoyed golfing and doing yard work.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by two siblings and their spouses, Gary and Sylvia and Marsano and Linda and Joe Battaglia, all of Ellwood City.

<B>MARSANO </B>— Friends of David J. Marsano, who died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2007, will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>Samuel Teolis Funeral Home</B>, 309 Spring Ave., Ellwood City. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday at the Purification Blessed Virgin Mary Church. Burial will be at Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
