Loraine Vantine
Loraine Vantine, 58, of Cabot, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at UPMC Shadyside.
Born May 23, 1967, in Butler, she was the beloved daughter of L.H. Goepfert and Irma Goepfert.
Loraine found joy in caring for others, both in her work and in her everyday life. She flourished as a resident coordinator at Concordia of Cabot in Haven I, where she was deeply loved by her residents and co-workers. She was a devoted member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Cabot.
She had a gift for making a house feel like home — whether through her cooking and baking or the way she brought people together. There were very few things she loved more than being “Nunni,” the name she was lovingly called by her granddaughter. She cherished spending the day in the kitchen preparing a big meal and gathering around the table with her family, creating moments filled with laughter, comfort and love.
She cherished time with her family and friends, and her happiest moments were often spent hosting gatherings filled with warmth and joy.
She is survived by her loving husband, Tim Vantine, whom she married Oct. 16, 1992; her daughters, Summer Vantine, of Saxonburg, and Sheila Adams, of Cabot; and her treasured granddaughter, Adora Adams. She is also survived by her dear nieces and nephews, Cassie Weremeychik, Samantha Goepfert and Matthew Goepfert; as well as her great-nieces and great-nephews, Zander, Landon and McKenna.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Pippie Goepfert; and her brother Larry Goepfert.
Her love, warmth and the memories she created will live on in all who knew and loved her, and her unwavering faith in Jesus was a guiding light throughout her life.
