Glenn E. Magee
Glenn E. Magee, 82, of Hopewell Township died Thursday at Heritage Valley, Sewickley.
He was born June 18, 1926, in Valencia and was the son of the late J. Sample and Elva (Stoup) Magee.
He was a retired mechanical engineer having retired from ARCO Chemical in 1985.
He participated in the Navy V-12 program while attending college at Bucknell University and the University of Rochester.
He was a member of ARCO Retirees and the Ohio United Presbyterian Church in Hopewell Township, where he taught Sunday school for more than 50 years and served as an elder and trustee.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores (Dilling) Magee, in 1998; and a brother J. Kenneth Magee.
Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Karin Magee of Sewickley; a daughter, Gail Magee of Hopewell Township; a daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and William Smith of Hopewell Township; four grandchildren, Bryan and Joshua Magee, Patrick Smith and his wife, Ashlea and Brittany Smith; and a great-granddaughter: Kendal Smith.

Magee, who died Thursday, March 19, 2009, will be received from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Huntsman Funeral Home & Cremation Service Inc.</B>, 2345 Mill St., Aliquippa. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at the Ohio U.P. Church, Longvue Avenue, Aliquippa, by his pastor, the Rev. Ted Dennis. Private interment will take place in West Union Cemetery, Valencia.Memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Magee's name to the Ohio U.P. Church, 1236 Longvue Ave., Aliquippa, PA 15001.
