Cowperthwait

Ronald S. Cowperthwait, 51, of Chicora died unexpectedly Thursday at his home.

He was born April 24, 1957, in Salem County, N.J., to Robert C. Cowperthwait of Murrels Inlet, S.C., and Dianne M. Marwick Martinez of Pennsville, N.J.

He enjoyed drawing, reading his Bible, cooking, body surfing, landscaping and making floral arrangements.

Surviving are his wife, Terri Cowperthwait of Butler; two sons, Jason Cowperthwait of Pennsville and Scott Cowperthwait of Florida; a granddaughter, Lauren Cowperthwait of Pennsville; a sister, Kristy Hooks of Shirleysburg, Pa.; a brother, Robert Cowperthwait of Texas; several nieces and nephews; and an aunt, Beverly Boyer of Pennsville.

He was preceded in death by a son, Derrick "Chad" Cowperthwait, who died June 25, 2007.

<B>COWPERTHWAIT</B> — Friends of Ronald S. Cowperthwait, who died Thursday, April 24, 2008, will be received from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W.
