Guy Barto, 69, of Portersville, passed away Friday, March 6, 2026.

He was born in Butler on Feb. 16, 1957, son of the late Paul and Shirley (Barber) Barto.

Guy worked at Wesco Distribution for 30 years. He enjoyed being around his family and doing yard work. Guy was known for being kind, outgoing and funny. He would do anything for anyone.

Guy was the beloved husband of JoAnne (Connors) Barto, whom he married 27 years ago; stepfather of James Wahl Jr. and Mallory (Jason) Haefner; brother of Paul Barto Jr., Edward (Kristina) Barto, Tracy Barto and Raylene Hill; and grandfather of Aiden and Sophie Ann Haefner and Alyce Wahl.

BARTO — Family and friends of Guy Barto, who died Friday, March 6, 2026, will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 13, at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler. A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home.
