Paul Terek
Paul M. Terek, 75, of Hampton Township, Allison Park, formerly of Valencia, died peacefully Monday, March 9, 2026.
Born in Butler on Jan. 26, 1951, he was the son of the late Michael A. Terek and Severina Rubrecht Terek.
He was the beloved husband for 17 years of Christina M. Liberto Terek; loving father of AmyAnn (Nate) and stepfather to Sarah (Matthew); dear brother of Martin (Rosa) Terek, Dolores Terek, the late Ambrose Polena (Arlene) and Rose Bailey (Dale); proud grandfather of Ethan and Elliot; stepgrandfather of Connor, Josephine and Henry; and cherished uncle of Cheryl (John), Mary Ann (Steve), Alex, Andrew (Chelsey) and Michael (Jayme). He is also survived by many great-nieces and great-nephews.
Paul was a lifelong parishioner of Holy Sepulcher Church, where he attended grade school and developed his deep-rooted faith in the Lord. The church gave Paul’s life meaning and purpose and he often attended daily mass at Holy Sepulcher, St. Ursula and St. Mary Church.
He was a graduate of Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, earning both his undergraduate degree in accounting and Master of Business Administration. He was a longtime accountant and eventual CFO for Butler County Children’s Center. Paul was an avid runner and loved being with family. He will be dearly missed.
TEREK — Friends of Paul M. Terek, who died Monday, March 9, 2026, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 12, at SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 13, at St. Mark the Evangelist Parish, Holy Sepulcher Church.
Private interment will be held in Assumption Cemetery of St. Mary, Middle Road, Glenshaw.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mark the Evangelist Parish, Holy Sepulcher Church, 1304 E. Cruikshank Road, Butler, PA 16002.
