Damon E. Crawford, 45, of Butler, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2026.

He was born in Butler on March 14, 1980, the son of David Crawford and the late Carol (Mayhew) Crawford.

Damon graduated from Moniteau High School in 1999. He worked in numerous food service jobs, like Firehouse and most recently, Sam’s Club. Damon was known for being kindhearted, quick-witted, a good communicator and always had a positive attitude. He enjoyed art and being creative, singing and reading the Bible.

Damon liked watching movies, cooking, playing board games and going to roller coaster parks. He loved being outdoors, fishing and camping. In his free time, he enjoyed watching WWE wrestling and had a knack for technology. He attended Keenangers at North Main Street Church of God.

Damon is survived by his father, David; sister, Molly Crawford-Barnhart; nephew, Gregory McCloskey; and brother-in-law, Gregg McCloskey.

Along with his mother, Damon was preceded in death by his sister, Kelly McCloskey.

CRAWFORD — Family and friends of Damon E. Crawford, who died Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2026, are welcome to attend a funeral service at noon Saturday, March 21, at North Main Street Church of God, 1201 N. Main St. Extension, Butler, PA 16001.

Arrangements were made through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to North Main Street Church of God or to the Nora Crocker-J. Calvin McCoy Scholarship fund at SRHS Alumni Association, P.O. Box 674, Slippery Rock, PA 16057.
