Olga Ram, 78, of Belmont Road died at 12:35 a.m. Monday at her home.

Born July 11, 1928, in Dhamtari, India, she was the daughter of James Govind Ram and Ethel M. Ulrick.

Miss Ram was a teacher and had taught English and geography in India, England and Australia. When she retired, she returned to India to live and enjoyed visits to her family in the United States.

Her church affiliation was with Saint Andrews United Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by two sisters, Helga Nallathambi of Butler, with whom she made her home and Donna Paul of Canada; two brothers, Eric Ram of Delhi, India, and Leslie Ram of Calcutta, India; five nieces; and two nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Cecil and Denis G. Ram.
