Herrera- Rondon gets 3rd
Seneca Valley junior Alejandro Herrera-Rondon placed third at 132 pounds at the prestigious Walsh Ironman wrestling event in Ohio over the weekend.
Herrera-Rondon won five of his six matches, the only loss being by 1-0 ultimate tiebreaker to Ethen Miller of Park Hill.
No other Raider placed in the event, which involved teams from 11 states. Dylan Chappell and Antonio Amelio won three matches each at 126 and 145 pounds, respectively. Liam Volk-Klos won two matches at 170.
Seneca Valley finished 21st as a team with 47 points.
