The coroner’s office was called to a two-vehicle crash along Route 8 in Butler Township near the road’s intersection with Decatur Drive.

A woman driving one of the vehicles was reportedly “unresponsive” following the crash, which was called into Butler County Emergency Services around 1:50 p.m. Reports indicated she was in “traumatic arrest.”

Butler County dispatch reports said two vehicles on the roadway were blocking traffic.

PennDOT put out a release around 3:30 p.m. saying Route 8 is still closed between Litman and McCalmont/Vogel roads in Butler Township. The roadway will remain closed until the scene is cleared.
