Huff

Martha H. “Martie” Huff, 95, of Butler, passed peacefully at home with her loving family by her side on Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2026.

She was born Nov. 28, 1930, in Isle, Pa., and was the daughter of Albert H. and Nettie Reiger Hilliard.

She was a 1948 graduate of Butler High School.

Martha was a homemaker and was actively involved with her husband and family on the family farm. She also delivered Meals on Wheels for over 30 years. Martha was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Prospect. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her family. Her favorite pastime was to just simply enjoy watching over her family and farm.

Survivors include two sons, Tim (Michelle) Huff, of Butler, and Tom (Pam) Huff, of Butler; two daughters, Tammy (Ed) Rupert, of Butler, and Theresa (Bob) Bicker, of Butler; one sister, Helen Schubert, of West Sunbury; seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded by her husband, Richard A. Huff, whom she married Dec. 21, 1950, who died Dec. 20, 2001; and also by one brother.

HUFF — Per her wishes, there will be no public visitation for Martha H. “Martie” Huff, who died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2026, and a memorial service is being planned for a later date.
