Butler girls suffer tough road loss
The slim playoff hopes for the Butler girls basketball team took a big blow against Pine-Richland Thursday night.
Emma Monteleone scored 12 points, but the Golden Tornado watched the Rams pull away in the fourth quarter in a 48-41 loss.
The setback dropped Butler to 6-10 overall and 3-7 in the section.
Kaili Doctor scored 16 to pace Pine-Richland (3-12, 1-9).
