Livingston's 739 series keys Freeport's win

Mark Livingston exploded with a 739 series Wednesday as the Freeport boys bowling team defeated Kiski Area, 5-2, at Wildflife Lanes in Lower Burrell.

Livingston had games of 246, 247 and 246. Issaic Spencer contributed a 544 series while Ashton Guay had a 526 and Blake Olson a 518.

The Yellowjacket girls rolled to a 7-0 victory. Julia Cummings bowled a 621 series for Freeport, including games of 214 And 211. Amber Cepec and Jordan Fischer both rolled 170 games.

Butler's boys and girls improved to 9-0 with wins Wednesday at Family Bowlaway.

Blaine Hooks had a career-high 618 series for the Golden Tornado, with a high game of 223. Chris Huff added a 602 series.

On the girls side, Rachael Blose had a 217 game and 570 series. Regan Malis added a 547 series and 217 game, Lauren Bash a 209.

Butler's girls clinched the North section title last week. Butler's boys close the regular season next Wednesday at North Allegheny with the section title on the line.
