Lampard

Clarke Sherburne Lampard, 83, a resident of Cherry Valley, Calif., for 15 years, passed away peacefully Sept. 23.

Clarke was born April 21, 1926, in Ellwood City to Frank and Lenora Lampard.

Clarke retired as a major in the U.S. Air Force. He served from 1944 to 1946 and then again from 1949 until 1967. He saw action in World War II, Korea and Vietnam, receiving several medals and awards in recognition for his service.

He then had a 10-year career as a probation officer.

He is survived by his loving wife, Ruth, six children, 12 grandchildren. and 11 great-grandchildren.
