Gold

David Gold, 74, of Gibsonia, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2026, at his home.

Born Oct. 23, 1951, in Butler he was the son of Harold Gold and Irene Hanchovsky Gold.

He retired from American Airlines as a simulator engineer after 40 years. David was an avid golfer and reader. He enjoyed target shooting with his sons, was deeply involved in coaching and supporting their sporting activities and cherished spending quality time with his daughter.

Surviving are his wife, Beverly Gold, whom he married Nov. 15, 1975; three children, Jason Gold, of Wexford, Phillip (Jocelyn) Gold, of Gibsonia, and Hillary Gold, of Gibsonia; and sister-in-law, Kathleen Gold, of Hilliards.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Jeffrey Gold; and one nephew, Jonathan Gold.

GOLD — Burial services for David Gold, who died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2026, will be private. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
