Elizabeth ‘Betty’ Klabnik
Elizabeth J. “Betty” Klabnik, 95, of Sarver, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2026, at the Seasons of Saxonburg.
Born May 30, 1930, in Tarentum, she was the daughter of Louis Frederick and Elizabeth Weleski Frederick.
Betty was a graduate of Har-Brack High School. She spent her entire adult life working on the farm alongside her husband.
She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Joseph Church in Cabot. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, painting, arts and crafts and baking.
Surviving are her daughter, Denise (Bill) Craven, of Butler; her son, Carl (Danette) Klabnik, of Saxonburg; one sister, Mary Ann Dunbar, of Sarver; four grandchildren, Timothy Klabnik, Mark Klabnik, Nicholas Craven and Brian Craven; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, S. Ambrose Klabnik; her son, James Klabnik; her daughter, Mary Klabnik; and one sister, Gladys Dunbar.
The family would like to thank mom and dad for all they did and sacrificed for us. You done good!
KLABNIK — Friends of Elizabeth J. “Betty” Klabnik, who died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2026, will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Joseph Church, 315 Stoney Hollow Road, Cabot, with Father Ward Stakem officiating.
Interment will follow in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph Church.
