Joseph Wojciechowski

Wojciechowski

Joseph Wojciechowski, 81, of Butler, formerly of Hampton, died peacefully Monday, Jan. 26, 2026, at UPMC Passavant-Cranberry.

Born in Pittsburgh on Dec. 6, 1944, he was the son of the late Joseph and Rose Medved Wojciechowski.

He was the beloved husband for 61 years of Carol Ackerman Wojciechowski; loving father of Rebecca A. Rosswog (Dan), Joseph L. Wojciechowski (Christine), Retta M. Martin (Sam) and the late Jeff C. Wojciechowski; brother of Julianne “Mitzi” Noe (the late George), Donald Wojciechowski (Pat) and the late Ronald Wojciechowski; and proud grandfather of Samantha, Anna, Jacob, Nathan, Colleen, Ashley, Joseph, Zachary, Sarah and Logan. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren, Ava, Norman, Carson, Lucia, Liliana and Rosalie.

A U.S. Marine veteran, Joseph was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and worked for many years in leadership roles in the logistics and transportation industry. He loved hunting, playing cards with family and was a gifted storyteller, often telling tales of his time in the Marines, glory days with Perry High School football and mischievous adventures growing up with his siblings. Most of all, Joe loved being with his family, especially his grandkids and great-grandkids. He will be dearly missed.
