Mildred Mineo, 92, formerly of Beaver County, died Sunday in Houston, Texas.

She was born Aug. 8, 1915, in Pittson, Pa., to Angelo and Antoinette Ferrante.

She was an active member of the Queen of Heaven Church and the Christian Mothers. She and her late husband, Michael, owned and operated Sal Mineo's Restaurant in Koppel, Beaver County.

She is survived by two sons, Sam Mineo and his wife, Carol, of Portersville and Michael Mineo and his wife, Bonnie, of Houston; one daughter, Donna Fenchel and her husband, Ken, of Columbia, S.C.; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Joe, Steve and Sal; and one sister, Pearl, all of New York.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael S. Mineo.

Millie was a wonderful loving mother and grandmother who will be desperately missed by us all. We will never forget her wonderful smile, warm personality and the strong unwavering faith she had throughout life. She was an inspiration to us all, especially in her last two years of life. When the road got tough, she just kept her warm, contagious smile going everyday, making all those around her also smile.
