SV golfers score win
Seneca Valley's boys golf team topped Butler, 216-224, at Butler Country Club Wednesday afternoon.
Nolan Nicklas (38), Joel Goodzinski (41) and Casey Clawson (44) led the way for the Raiders.
Butler (8-5, 6-5) had efforts that included Parker Worsley (40), Colin Patterson (44) and Hunter Swidzinski (45).

Brynne Barger and Kendall Sankey both had a 50.
A pair of Butler's doubles duos fell in the first round of the WPIAL Section 2-3A tournament.Mikayla Turner and Jillian Clark dropped a 10-6 decision to Seneca Valley's Sienna Summers and Megan Bablak.Emily Porneluzi and Bekah Kalberer lost to Pine-Richland's Elizabeth Stokes and Katelyn Terchick 10-2.
Ashley Fox had two aces, nine kills and 16 digs as Karns City defeated Moniteau, 3-1.
