PIHL hockey all-star rosters announced: Seneca Valley, Butler, Mars lead Butler County teams with 5 picks

The defending PIHL and state champion Seneca Valley boys hockey team will be represented by five players in this year’s PIHL Class AAA all-star roster.

Jacob Gilbert (senior forward), Carter Hoehn (senior defenseman), Leyton Moreau (senior forward), Chris Nichols (senior goalie) and John Sroka III (senior forward) all made the team, announced in the past week.

The all-star games will all be played Jan. 25, 2026, at Robert Morris University.

Butler and Mars will also send five each to the Class A Gold Division team.

The Golden Tornado will be represented by Seamus Griffith (senior defenseman), Lucas Hensler (senior forward), Jase Renwick (senior forward), Harper Slater (junior goalie) and Anthony Trombatt (senior forward). The Planets’ have Xavier Bossola (senior forward), Carter Gallagher (senior goalie), Matt Lestitian (senior forward), Jack Tirch (senior defenseman) and Grant Weaver (senior forward).

Freeport and North Catholic have three apiece in Class A Blue: Aiden Bauman (senior forward), Nick Jones (junior defenseman) and Bantam Semanko (senior forward) for the Yellowjackets; and Jack Anderson (senior defenseman), Conor Bradrick (senior forward) and Anthony Neely (senior forward) for the Trojans.

Cam Christie, Brady Linamen and Synjun McHattie will rep Knoch in D2.
