Lernerville Speedway general manager Gregory Geibel is stepping down at the end of the racing season.

The departure from the legendary 4/10-mile clay track, the track and Dirt.tv announced Wednesday, comes after a tenure in which Geibel managed physical track operations and the expansion of the Dirt.tv streaming network.

Under this administration, Lernerville Speedway remained a premier destination for dirt track racing, successfully executing crown jewel events like the Firecracker 100, the Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup and the annual Steel City Stampede. Geibel also spearheaded the integration of Dirt.tv, transforming the track’s media presence into a thriving digital broadcast network that brings not only live racing and other events.

"Managing a venue with the prestige of Lernerville Speedway and launching the Dirt.tv platform to where it’s at has been the privilege of a lifetime," Geibel said in the news release. "I want to express my deepest gratitude to the Tomson family, our dedicated staff, the drivers who put on a show every single week and the most passionate fans in dirt racing. The track is in fantastic shape, and I look forward to watching its continued growth."

The Tomson family and Lernerville Speedway ownership extended their thanks to Geibel for his service to “The Action Track.”
