Autumn Powell struck out 19 and scattered just three singles over seven innings to lead the Freeport softball team to an 8-0 win over Valley.

Powell only recorded two outs that weren't strikeouts in the complete-game victory.

Maya Borghol doubled, singled twice and drove in three runs to lead the Yellowjackets' offensive attack.

Moniteau 22, Brookville 2 — Abby Rottman had a triple, double, single, four RBI and three runs scored as the Warriors won easily. Taylor Schultz and Emma Covert had three hits each as well, Covert collecting four RBI.

Courtney Stewart homered and Emily Staab had four RBI. Courtney Stewart, Autumn Stewart and Brynn Barger all had two hits and two RBI.

Moniteau had 20 hits. Covert was the winning pitcher, striking out eight in four innings.

North Allegheny 5, Butler 4 — The Golden Tornado dropped this game in nine innings. Kelsey Ogin struck out four for Butler.

Moniteau scored eight runs in the fourth inning to trigger a 13-11 win at Brockway.
