A letter to Mom

Mom, Today we would have celebrated your 100th birthday. How I wish that you were here with me for this milestone. But, God had other plans for you, and took you home to share His birthday with yours.

As I sit here writing this letter, I am remembering Christmases past, when we were all together as a family. Life seems to change so quickly that you never know just what lies ahead.

So on this Christmas Day, 2017, I just want to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy Birthday. Know that you are not forgotten and never will be. You are in my thoughts both day and night. Just knowing that you are at peace and hopefully have been reunited with Dad, (Your own true love), is just the best Christmas gift I could ever hope for.
