Police reports

The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:

Butler

Dec. 24 — Zackary James Delaney, 27, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor terroristic threats following a Dec. 9 incident. Police said Delaney pointed a handgun at multiple people.

Dec. 24 — Anthony Jerome Chilton, of Youngstown, Ohio, was charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession following a June 20 incident. Police said Chilton had a small bag of marijuana.

Dec. 26 — Harry Lindsey Hartzell, 60, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor DUI following a Dec. 24 incident. Police said Hartzell had a blood alcohol content of 0.159%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Butler Twp

Dec. 23 — Matthew Robert Double, 31, of Chicora, was charged with misdemeanor false identification to law enforcement following a Nov. 30 incident. Police said Double gave his brother’s name when asked for identification.

Dec. 23 — Jenna Amanda Orkwis, 46, of Butler, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of controlled substance possession and drug paraphernalia possession following an Oct. 21 incident. Police said Orkwis had a loose crack rock and a glass smoking pipe.

Dec. 25 — Andrew Keith Herrin, 34, of Butler, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of controlled substance possession and drug paraphernalia possession following a Dec. 24 incident. Police said Herrin had three plastic baggies of a white crystal substance, a glass smoking pipe with residue and eight hypodermic needles.

State police, Liquor Control Enforcement

Dec. 23 — Joseph Thomas Cancel, 34, of Templeton, was charged with misdemeanor furnishing alcohol following an Oct. 2 incident. Police said Cancel bought alcohol for a minor.

State police, Butler

Dec. 23 — Police investigated a single-vehicle crash at 6:53 p.m. near mile marker 103 on Interstate 79 north. Police said Elise N. Stich, 25, of New Castle, was driving a Chevrolet Captiva when she lost control and struck a security fence and several small trees and shrubs. She was transported to AHN Grove City Hospital with possible injuries.

Dec. 26 — John Dennis Stull, 46, of Butler, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of simple assault and resisting arrest following a Dec. 25 incident in Clearfield Township. Police said Stull physically resisted officers, did not comply with orders and threw a small wooden object at a woman that struck her above the right eye.
