Mildred ‘Mae’ Pentz

Mildred Mae Pentz, 89, of Cabot, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2025, at Concordia.

Born Oct. 23, 1936, in Danville, Pa., she was the daughter of Donald E. Dilliplane and Mildred Scott Dilliplane.

Mae was a graduate of New Cumberland High School, attended Millersville State Teachers College and had worked as a secretary for Shaull Equipment Company. She was active in her church and enjoyed her card clubs. Above all, she enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband, Marlin L. Pentz, whom she married Sept. 29, 1956; her son, Mark L. (Cheri) Pentz, of Grafton, Ohio; her daughter, Missi (Tod) Wirtz, of Butler; her brother, Donald Dilliplane, of Atlanta, Ga.; five grandchildren, Michael (Yvonne), Matthew (Kristina), Michelle (Jordan), Andrew (Brittany) and Maya (Caleb); and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

PENTZ — Services will be private for Mildred Mae Pentz, who died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2025.

Memorial donations may be made to Penn Christian Academy, 199 Airport Road, Butler, PA 16002, or Community Alliance Church, 800 Mercer Road, Butler, PA 16001.
