Raymond Fisher
Raymond A. Fisher, 82, of Butler, passed away at home surrounded by family Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2025.
He was born Sept. 6, 1943, in Butler, to the late Paul Lawrence Fisher and Mary Elizabeth (Patterson) Fisher.
Raymond graduated from Butler High School in 1961. He worked for Armco for many years before retiring from the shipping department in 2002. Raymond enjoyed bowling, birdwatching and reading the newspaper. Raymond loved to dance and was even voted best dancer in high school.
Raymond is survived by his wife of 61 years, Denise Fisher, whom he married Aug. 15, 1964. He also is survived by two sons, Mike (Jackie) Fisher and Rob (Carolyn) Fisher; and four grandchildren, Brooke (Geoff) Aalberts, Laike (Ryan) Crawford, Cameron (Hannah) Fisher and Jacob Fisher. He also is survived by one brother, Bill Fisher; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four siblings, Patricia Balde, Paul L. Fisher, Donald Fisher and Marianne Shearer.
FISHER — Per his wishes, everything will be held privately for Raymond A. Fisher, who died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2025.
