Police reports
The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:
Dec. 18 — Marvin A. Galeas Alvares, 36, of Allison Park, was charged with six misdemeanor counts of writing bad checks following a Dec. 10 filing. Police said Galeas Alvares attempted to use six fraudulent checks in September valued at $89,708.38.
Dec. 18 — Madeline Elaine Rupert, 25, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor possession of display documents following a Nov. 26 traffic stop. Police said Rupert had fake inspection stickers on her vehicle.
Dec. 18 — Joseph A. Seeley, 37, of Holland, N.Y., was charged with two misdemeanor counts each of retail theft and receiving stolen property following a Sept. 15 incident. Police said Seeley stole $538 in merchandise from Tractor Supply.
Dec. 18 — Joseph A. Seeley, 37, of Holland, N.Y., was charged with one misdemeanor count each of retail theft and receiving stolen property following an Aug. 30 incident. Police said Seeley stole $468 in merchandise from Tractor Supply.
Dec. 18 — Shakeya Tamoz Shackelford-Brown, 31, of Pittsburgh, was charged with felony retail theft and misdemeanor receiving stolen property following a Dec. 8 incident. Police said Shackelford-Brown stole $776 in merchandise from Kohl’s.
Dec. 18 — Shakeya Tamoz Shackelford-Brown, 31, of Pittsburgh, was charged with felony retail theft and misdemeanor receiving stolen property following an Oct. 28 incident. Police said Shackelford-Brown stole $1,463 in merchandise from Kohl’s.
Dec. 12 — Caleb Richard McKee, 29, of Valencia, was charged with misdemeanor strangulation following a Dec. 11 incident. Police said McKee grabbed a woman by the throat.
Dec. 15 — Jonathon Tyler Michael, 32, of Parker, was charged with two felony theft counts following a Dec. 11 incident. Police said Michael failed to return a rented vehicle.
Dec. 11 — A private criminal complaint was filed and approved by the Butler County District Attorney charging Donald Charles Trimbur, 58, of Cabot, with two misdemeanor theft counts following an April 4 incident. Authorities allege Trimbur did not pay an ambulance bill to East Butler Volunteer Fire Company and Ambulance Service.
Dec. 12 — Sandi Lynn Kradel, 44, of Saxonburg, was charged with misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession following a June 26 traffic stop in Butler. Police said Kradel had glass stem pipes and glassine bags with residue.
Dec. 16 — Jonathan Edwa Cutwright, 30, of New Castle, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a Nov. 27 traffic stop in Butler. Police said Cutwright had a blood alcohol content of 0.151%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
