Emergency responders believe they have found a missing Armstrong County man following multiple days of searching.

According to a post on Facebook from the Manor Township Police Department, “search operations have concluded and water recovery efforts will begin” for an individual believed to be Cory Dominic Cook.

Cook, 31, of Manor Township, was last seen around 8 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 18.

In a previous post, the department said Cook’s rental car was found abandoned on the rails to trails path by Graff Bridge near Kittanning.

Starting at 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 22, the trail was closed to all foot and vehicle traffic while recovery efforts were underway.

Police requested the public “respect the closure and the privacy of the family.”
