Betty Jean Kennedy
Betty Jean Kennedy, 71, of Butler died at 6:25 p.m. Saturday at Sunnyview Home.
Born Sept. 25, 1936, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of George Walter Sr. and Florence Irene Glasgow Hazen.
She was a member of the Unionville Presbyterian Church. She also was an honorary member of the Sheriff's Association and the Women of the Moose Lodge 64, Chapter 260.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Tony (Sherri) Breamer of Nightdale, N.C.; four sons, Thomas G. III and Victor G. Kennedy, both of Slippery Rock, Gerald J. Kennedy of Butler and Marc M. Kennedy of Cincinnati, Ohio; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and a sister, Jane Galliford of Orlando, Fla.
Her husband, Thomas Guy "TK" Kennedy, whom she married June 12, 1953, died Oct. 17, 1997. A brother also preceded her in death.
<B>KENNEDY</B> — Friends of Betty Jean Kennedy, who died Saturday, March 22, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W. Jefferson St. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Matt Kail officiating.
