I was a patient of Dr. McNerney's for almost 15 years. I liked him as my doctor. I trusted him and was sad to see him leave his practice to go to the hospital.

I was abruptly awaken to the lack of respect and total disregard he has for his patients. Dr. McNerney seems to have lost all of our medical records! Myself and several other patients of his (that I personally know) all filled out and signed the form to forward our records to a new doctor but they never arrived. I've called Dr. McNerney three times at the hospital and was told to call Debbie Vogel at Butler Medical Associates. I've called her and she told me my records were not there. She also said my name was not on the list of people who's records were sent to the underground mine in Boyers.

So, if my new doctor doesn't have my records and Butler Medical Associates doesn't have my records and the mine in Boyers doesn't have my records.. where are my medical records??

This makes me wonder about that HIPPA privacy paper I sign at the doctors and pharmacies now a days. In that paper I designate who is allowed my personal information. Not ONE of the people I permitted to have my 15 or so years of personal medical information has it.

Dr. McNerney where is my medical records? How many other people's medical records have you lost or simply shredded? I'm wondering are you hiding something?
