The Pittsburgh Huskies Bantam AA hockey team was the runner-up at the 39th annual Mid-American Silver Sticks Tournament last weekend in Dayton, Ohio.

The Huskies (15-4-2) defeated the Fort Wayne (Ind.) Komets 6-1, the Chesterfield (Mo.) Falcons 3-0 and Rocky River (Ohio) Pirates 4-0 before falling 3-2 in overtime to the Toledo Cherokees in the title game.

Dustin Davis scored eight goals for the Huskies, Christian Miller had three, and Troy Double two, Brandon Lydick and Cam Lydick had one each.

Goalie Parker Sherry stopped 42 of 43 shots while teammate Clay Bachman stopped 70 of 73 shots.
