Reges

Marie G. Reges, 85, of Butler died at 5:35 a.m. Tuesday at the Chicora Medical Center.

Born Sept. 13, 1921, in Center Township, she was the daughter of Elmer and Pansy Thompson Wonderley.

In her younger years, she had been a bartender at the Spillway and had worked at Pullman Standard.

She was an avid bingo player.

Surviving are four daughters, twins, Sheila Gorman of Butler and Mrs. Gary L. (Sharon) Weir of Meridian and Jackie Fulton and Mrs. Robert (Barbie) Eppinger Jr., both of Butler; four sons, Cecil "Larry" Reges of Butler, Robert Reges of Slippery Rock and Raymond and Jerry Reges, both of Butler; 17 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, a grandson, three sisters and a brother.

<B>REGES </B>— Friends of Marie G. Reges, who died Tuesday, May 29, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W. Jefferson St. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Peterson, pastor of St. John's Reformed Church, officiating.
