Edward John Zielinski, 60, of Butler passed away at 5:06 a.m. Sunday at Butler Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.

He was born Aug. 16, 1950, in Grove City. He was the son of the late Paul John Zielinski and the late Edith R. Clough Zielinski.

He was a 1969 graduate of Knoch High School.

Mr. Zielinski was a member of the Metal Workers Union at Magnetics until his retirement.

He enjoyed fishing and was an avid computer enthusiast.

He is survived by one daughter, Kimberly Zielinski of Butler; five sisters, Lorraine Malone of Butler, Helen Lauschus and her husband, Lewis, of Butler, Donna Zielinski of Clarion, Carol Ann Desmond of Butler and Karen Zielinski of Meadville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

<B>ZIELINSKI</B> — A memorial service for Edward John Zielinski, who died Sunday, Oct. 10, 2010, will be at East Butler Presbyterian Church, Ninth and Randolph streets, East Butler, at 11 a.m. Friday with the Rev.
