Harmony man’s ‘Jeopardy!’ winning streak ends at 3

Harmony resident Ron Lalonde’s “Jeopardy! winning streak ended at three in a show broadcast Monday, Dec. 8.
Lalonde — following in the footsteps of his brother, Ray Lalonde, who is a 13-game “Jeopardy!” champion — came into Final Jeopardy in second place and answered the question correctly, but the contestant in first place also answered correctly and bid enough to defeat Lalonde, who finished the game with $9,599 and a four-day total of $55,501.
The clue in the category “Around the USA” was: ”A geological survey published in 1883 said this landmark was ‘regular in its operations,’ that ‘occur … frequently.'” The correct response was “What is Old Faithful?”
