BUTLER TWP — The auditorium of Butler Intermediate High School was elbow- to-elbow Saturday evening, Dec. 6, for the Butler County Symphony Orchestra’s annual Holiday Traditions concert.
The symphony puts on this holiday show every year. It features a selection of festive favorites, from beloved carols to classic symphonic arrangements that capture the spirit of the season. The concert featured the full power of the orchestra’s musicians and a community choir as well, which sang along to the music.
The symphony orchestra’s next concert is Feb. 7 and will be a “vibrant melting pot of music spanning 132 years, all composed in the United States.” The “Voices of America: From Within and Afar,” show continues the symphony orchestra’s season all based around celebrating the 250th birthday of the U.S.
