E. Evelyn Hollopeter, 107, of Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot, a longtime resident of the DuBois area in Clearfield County, died at 6:20 a.m. Friday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born June 4, 1899, she was the daughter, of William Benton and Della Elnora Burbaker Duff.

Mrs. Hollopeter was a homemaker.

She had been an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Clearfield County since 1911 and had served as a Sunday school teacher and church pianist for many years.

She is survived by a son, Robert D. Hollopeter of Dry Ridge, Ky.; a daughter, Margaret H. Miller of Butler; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Her husband, Jesse M. Hollopeter, whom she married June 16, 1921, died in 1977. Two sisters, a brother, a granddaughter and a nephew also preceded her in death.
