The Butler YMCA swim team finished seventh out of 36 teams at the recent district meet held at Indiana (Pa.)University.

The girls team placed fourth out of 32 teams, trailing only Greensburg YMCA, Laurel Highlands and Greater Johnstown.

Butler's age 15-to-18 400-yard medley relay team finished third in the meet and qualified for the upcoming YMCANationals in Florida. Brittany Vogel, Sarah Clouse, Courtney Shields and Rachel Tano swam the event in 4 minutes, 11.37 seconds.

All of the following swimmers placed among the top nine in their respective events and will represent Butler at the YMCA state meet at Penn State University this weekend:
