Honda North wins key dealer awards

Honda North is an award winner again for its consistently good customer service during the past decade.

The dealership on Route 68 in Connoquenessing Township received the 2016 Honda President’s Award for the 10th year in a row and the Honda Elite Service award for the second year in a row.

Allen Linsley, district parts and service manager with Honda, said of the 1,140 Honda dealerships in the U.S., 152 won the President’s Award in 2016. And of those dealerships, only 37 have won it 10 or more years.

Honda North is one of four dealerships in the U.S. that won both the President’s Award and the elite service award in 2016, Linsley said.

“Every single one of you earned this,” said Honda North partner Jon Palmiero, at a reception for employees on Thursday.

“This is your award.”

The President’s Award is the highest honor a Honda dealership can receive, Palmiero said. It is judged on all aspects of customer satisfaction in all departments of the dealership, Palmiero said.

The Honda Elite Service award is given to service departments that meet and exceed expectations. Honda North was one of 75 dealerships to receive the service award this year.

“Customer service is paramount to us,” Palmiero said. “Without the customers, we’re not here.”

Honda North is the largest volume dealership across all makes and models in Butler County. It is owned by Palmiero, Howard Neff and Joe Palmiero.
