Zabish

Patricia J. Boden Zabish, 94, of Mars, formerly of Pine Township, passed away on Saturday morning, Nov. 29, 2025, in the comfort of her home.

Born April 12, 1931, in Wilkinsburg, Pa., she was the daughter of the late James C. and Ethel M. Beech Boden.

Pat had been a secretary for 26 years for Mine Safety Appliances in Callery.

She was a member of the Mars United Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Cindy Bates (Tom) of Mars, with whom she made her home and Karen Smith (John) in North Carolina, a son, Charles Zabish (Judy) in Texas, a daughter-in-law, Darlene Zabish of Valencia, two stepsons, Rodney and Philip Zabish, both in California, nine grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip F. Zabish, who she married on Feb. 14, 1959 and who died on April 30, 1999, by a son, Edward Zabish, and by her brothers, James Boden, Richard Boden and Arthur Boden.

ZABISH — Friends of Patricia J. Boden Zabish, who died Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Gardens, Indiana Township.
