Willavene Cypher, 91, of Butler, passed away Thursday, Nov. 27, 2025, at her home.

Born Aug. 29, 1934, in Templeton, she was the daughter of Charles F. Myers and Ethel Stewart Myers.

Willavene was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Joseph Church, where she was a member of the Christian Mothers. She enjoyed decorating and spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband, Gerald E. Cypher, whom she married Aug. 29, 1952; her children, Debra (Rodney Duster) Stephenson of Natrona Heights, Gerald T. (Charlene Heasley) Cypher of Chattanooga, Tenn., Sheila Cypher of Butler, Martha (Deb Connell) Cypher of Effingham, Ill. and Jeffrey (Tony Moore) Cypher of Harrogate, England; three grandchildren, Jeremy Cypher, Gary A. Stephenson and Jennifer Danik; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Joseph Cypher; and her son-in-law, Gary Stephenson.

CYPHER — Services for Willavene Cypher, who died Thursday, Nov. 27, 2025, will be private.
