Larry Joseph "L.P." Post, 66, passed away Aug. 2 in Tucson, Ariz.

He lived in Tucson and was born in Butler.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela Post; his daughter; Michelle Albert; a son, Michael Post; a sister, Nancy (Craig) Daugherty; a brother, Ron (Lynda) Post; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Peggy and A.L. Bromley; stepchildren, Shyrl, Alaina, CJ and James; and nine grandchildren.

Larry was a retired police officer with 20 years with the Tucson Police Department, and he also was a Navy veteran.

He had a passion for the Indian culture and arts.

<B>POST </B>— A memorial service for Larry Joseph "L.P." Post, 66, who died Sunday, Aug. 2, 2009, will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, at the American Legion, Post 36, 5845 E. 22nd St. in Tucson, Ariz.Arrangements are entrusted to the <B>Adair Dodge Chapel</B>, Tucson.
