Douglas B. Lutz, 68, of Zelienople, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2025, while in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Born July 22, 1957, he was the son of the late Richard and Dorothy (Curry) Lutz.

Doug worked as a machinist at Herman Corp., Cannon USA, Vandiver Enterprises, and D&B Machine Co., which he proudly owned and operated.

He loved to cook and do home remodeling. He also enjoyed taking his son to look for deer on Evergreen Mill Road. Doug will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Rebecca (Frishkorn) Lutz; two sons, David and Ken Goehring; two sisters, Leona (Don) Bergstrom, of Harmony, and Beverly (Joel) Walter, of Cranberry Township; two brothers, David (Linda) Lutz, of Harmony, and Richard (Becky) Lutz, of North Carolina; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Doug was preceded in death by two brothers, Roger and Bradley Lutz; and one sister, Deborah O’Shea Lutz.

LUTZ — Friends and family of Douglas B. Lutz, who died Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2025, will be received from 11 a.m. until the time of the celebration of life service at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 24, at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople, with Pastor Reid Moon officiating.

Doug will be laid to rest at Grace Church Cemetery in Harmony.
